Dr Elise Turner has been practicing medicine on the Gold Coast since graduating from the University of Notre Dame Sydney in 2013. She has a focused interest in the following women’s health concerns:

  • Period problems – irregular or heavy cycles, painful periods, bleeding between periods;
  • Vulval and vaginal problems – itch, discharge, odour and skin changes;
  • Pre-pregnancy planning, tests and health optimisation;
  • Contraception options including implants and IUD’s (Mirena/Kyleena);
  • Breast checks;
  • Antenatal Care; and
  • Menopause and pre-menopause management.

Dr Turner has undergraduate qualifications in medical imaging (Nuclear Medicine), and postgraduate certification in Advanced Surgical Anatomy (University of Queensland) and a Diploma in Child Health (Westmead Hospital, Sydney). Outside of the GP Clinic, she enjoys being a Mum (both furry and human), an amateur apiarist, plodding around the veggie garden and baking sweet treats.
