Gynaecological Oncology is a highly specialised field, which deals with the surgical management of gynaecological cancers (vulval, vaginal, cervix, endometrial, uterine, ovarian, fallopian tube and peritoneal cancer). In order to become a Gynaecological Oncologist Specialists complete a Fellowship in Gynaecology, as well as three further years of subspecialty training solely in the surgical management of gynaecological cancers.
