Dr Bridget Gilsenan is a compassionate Gynaecologist who works with women to ensure they understand and are comfortable with the treatments she recommends. Dr Gilsenan has a special interest in the management of abnormal pap smears, minimally invasive surgery, adolescent gynaecology and helping patients manage heavy and/or painful periods.

She is passionate about maintaining a high standard of care within organisations and educating the next generation of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists to deliver high-quality, woman-centred care.

To this end, she is the coordinator of registrar education at the Gold Coast University Hospital and teaches medical students from both Bond and Griffith University. She is an instructor for local and national courses, including those that educate obstetricians, junior doctors and midwives in the management of obstetric and antenatal emergencies.
